At the international CES exhibition in Las Vegas, the latest technologies once again showed what the near future will look like. One of the main highlights was Verge TS Pro, the first mass-produced electric motorcycle with a solid-state battery. Such batteries are safer, last longer and charge much faster: 300 km of range in 10 minutes.
YPlasma presented a laptop with plasma cooling, which works by means of ionized air created by DBD actuators. The laptop runs without fans, is almost silent and makes it possible to build thinner and more powerful devices.
Wi‑Fi 8 will be finalized by 2028, but Broadcom, MediaTek and ASUS have already introduced the first compatible devices. The new standard is focused on high stability and minimal latency.
Lenovo made its contribution to the development of the digital ecosystem with the Qira AI assistant, which works across all of the brand’s devices. This makes it possible to switch seamlessly between platforms without losing work context.
DeskMate also drew attention — a device that turns an ordinary iPhone into a desktop companion. A phone mounted on a MagSafe dock “looks” at the user, responds to movement and “gestures.” It is an original way to make interaction with familiar technology feel more alive.
Finally, the Punkt MC03 smartphone focuses on data protection and privacy: its own OS, built-in VPN and flexible permission controls. In a world where privacy is becoming a scarce resource, such solutions are a response to a real user need.
