Starting September 15, 2025, Russia and China will launch a pilot visa-free regime. Russian citizens holding ordinary international passports will be able to visit China for up to 30 days without applying for a visa. This applies to trips for tourist, business, personal and cultural purposes.

The initiative is intended to simplify mutual travel and expand contacts at all levels. The visa-free measure reflects the strategic rapprochement of the two countries and is aimed at supporting tourism, business and humanitarian cooperation.

For now, the program is being introduced on a trial basis for one year, but its potential impact is already clear: in a modern world where time and mobility are increasingly valuable resources, such initiatives help bring not only countries closer together, but people as well.
