Yandex has launched a new service, Yandex Pharmacy, which makes it possible to quickly find medicines and medical products online. Users can order medicines in the Yandex Go app or on the service’s website, compare prices at different pharmacies, and receive their order by courier in 15–20 minutes or pick it up themselves.
The catalog includes more than 70,000 items, including prescription medicines that can only be collected at a pharmacy. One of the key features is price comparison not only for individual products, but for the entire basket.
The launch of the service was a response to growing interest among Russians in buying medical products online. In the second quarter of 2025, the number of orders through Yandex services increased by 93%, the number of buyers rose by 65%, and the overall turnover of pharmacy goods almost doubled.
The service is already operating in 200 cities across Russia. In the autumn, it will become possible to order rare medicines, which will be delivered from a warehouse in 1–2 days. In the future, Yandex Pharmacy will be integrated with the company’s other city services. This means that buying medicines will become as simple and familiar as ordering a taxi or food, without unnecessary hassle and time lost.
