Chinese company AgiBot has launched a unique robot rental service, Qingtian Rent, covering 50 cities across the country. The platform offers rentals of more than 1,000 humanoid robot models for 16 types of events, from weddings and concerts to business meetings and exhibitions.

The service addresses problems of unstable prices and seasonality in the rental market by offering standardized terms and technical support. Prices depend on functionality, ranging from $138 for the Go2 Air robot dog to $1,380 for the advanced Yuanzheng A2. Interest in such services has risen sharply after Unitree robots performed at a Chinese gala show.

AgiBot recently produced its 5,000th robot, ahead of its closest competitors in mass production, especially in the commercial segment focused on rentals and service work. This reduces production costs and makes rentals more affordable. The company is also building service infrastructure rather than simply selling robots.

China is already bringing robot rentals to a national scale. The market is projected to exceed $1.4 billion in 2027 — 10 times more than in 2025.
