2025 was a turning point for robotics: robots finally moved beyond laboratories and demonstration shows. They began replacing humans at real, complex and responsible stages of work. Humanoids carried out full shifts in factories for the first time and took on difficult industrial operations that had previously been available only to people.
The key breakthrough was a "next-generation brain" — foundation models for robots from NVIDIA, Boston Dynamics and Toyota. These technologies made it possible to train machines faster and transfer skills between different types of robots. Robotics became a platform: the first "skill stores" appeared, where functions are distributed like software.
At the same time, robots confidently entered medicine, performing surgical operations and making quality healthcare more accessible.
