The Belgian company Bike43 has introduced a unique electric bike with a modular design that makes it possible to change the length of the rear part of the frame. It is the first bike on the market that can be adapted to a family’s changing needs without buying a new one.

The two formats, Short and Mid, are achieved by simply moving the rear wheel by 15 cm. Short is rated for 70 kg of rear cargo, while Mid supports 85 kg and up to three children at once. The total payload capacity reaches 200 kg. At the same time, the bike retains maneuverability and comfort. It is equipped with a Bosch Performance Line motor with support for speeds of up to 25 km/h even when fully loaded.

Sales are set to begin in 2026, with prices starting at 4,990 euros. Bike43 is an adaptive mode of transport designed to grow with its owner.
