On January 6, 2026, Aeroflot will operate charity flight SU1076 on the Moscow–Novosibirsk route. And it will be more than just a flight — it will be a real concert at 10,000 meters. The event is timed to Christmas Eve and will be part of the company’s social program.
Live classical music performed by the Russian Music Academy will be heard directly in the aircraft cabin for passengers. The program will feature recognized masterpieces of world classical music, with a special place given to excerpts from Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker.
All funds raised from the flight will be directed to charitable causes. Aeroflot has been holding such flights since 2024, and during that time support has gone to orphaned children, including those from Russia’s new regions, veterans of the Great Patriotic War, as well as foundations involved in medical support and the protection of rare animals.
In the end, the Christmas flight becomes a small celebration for complete strangers. Some are simply traveling for work, some for the experience, and some suddenly realize that an ordinary airline ticket can be a way to make the world a little better.
