In Moscow Region, an AI-based video surveillance system reduced the number of violations by 40%. The cameras detect litter, parking violations, graffiti, and non-working lighting. Over the course of a year, they identified and helped address about 185,000 violations.

Special attention is paid to proper parking: vehicles that block garbage pickup or are parked on lawns are automatically recorded, and their owners receive fines. The AI system also monitors the condition of playgrounds and the performance of management companies. For uncleaned areas, fines apply.

Governor of Moscow Region Andrey Vorobyov said the region is deliberately introducing digital solutions in the housing and utilities sector, and that results are already visible—complaints from residents have noticeably decreased.
