American company Fyrn has unveiled Studio Series, a collection of designer interior objects made entirely from production waste. Aluminum candleholders and serving sets made from leftover walnut and oak are the result of a creative reimagining of resources.
The idea arose after scraps accumulated in the company’s workshop. Co-founder David Charn suggested not discarding them, but turning them into unique objects. The result was a series that highlights differences in texture, irregularities and traces of hand finishing.
Each piece is one of a kind, depending on the random shape of the remaining materials. This is not just recycling waste, but a rethinking of the very idea of value: an object matters not only because it is beautiful or convenient, but also because it carries a story, a soul and respect for the resource.
