Since June 2025, travelers with low vision can use a free ReBokeh app developed specifically to support them while moving through the airport. The International Airport of Miami was the first in the world to introduce this service. With the app, passengers can adjust the image from their smartphone camera to better suit their needs, including increasing contrast and brightness, so they can navigate the airport more easily.

The app was created by Rebecca Rosenberg, the founder of ReBokeh, who also lives with low vision and knows how important it is to see details in the route ahead. Unlike voice-based helpers, ReBokeh helps people see directly, making traveling more independent.

The app’s launch was part of the MyMIAccess program, which is focused on creating a comfortable environment for everyone. This is a step toward a more accessible and inclusive society and an example of how technology can become socially meaningful—helping millions of people travel with confidence and independence.
